I am NOT serious and I rarely talk about homemaking. 

When my schoolmates voted me "Most Likely to Succeed" in high school they had no idea that all I wanted to be in life was a great mom.

"What are you doing these days?" they ask. I am a Homemaker. No, seriously ... just a Homemaker!

I got a bachelor's degree in "Home Economics" (yes, they still give those out) and now that I've been a certified homemaker for 11 years, all I want to be is... yet to be determined. For now I am soooo pretty. And I am really, really good at convincing The Manchild (my husband) to eat out.

I have four kids and they think I'm awesome 1% of the time. And they hate to eat food with flavor or nutritional benefits. They have perfected the eye roll.

I LOVE to work with power tools and have WAY too many D-I-Y ideas for improving my home. But NO time to DO any of them. It's hazardous to my (mental) health.

I like to imagine that when my baby boy is in kindergarten (only 3 years to go!) I will have enough time to execute more of these ideas. It's gonna rock my world!

I am Woman (hear me roar), I am Mom (hear me nag), and I am a lover: of sawdust, chocolate chips, and my Manchild. And Justin Bieber.

I have a muffin top that would make any continental breakfast buffet jealous. Nevertheless, I'm trying to get rid of that feature.

The truth is that this blog is just ME. I hope you like it. And me. I am trying to be "awesomer" at my life. You get to read as I fail at that with style and humor.

I don't know what I want to be when I grow up, but for now I am a Homemaker. No, seriously! A Homemaker!
